When I first picked up the line I heard the voice "Welcome to UK Consumer Study " and then I hung up. When they called a second time I spoke to a person and gave them an earful demanding to be removed from their database and instead they get upset that I will not participate like a goat in their surveys on consumer habits.

The call was automated at first. It will first tell you that you can press 1 take the survey or press 2 to be removed from their list. If you speak to an person to take the survey they will ask questions mostly about lifestyle choices and products you buy.

received a call saying: Are you deaf? Are you deaf? do you want to hear something bad on the phone? Do you want to hear something really bad? Disgraceful, frightning and bullying tactics. Why are they allowed to continue?!

Just had a call from this number where Jenny claimed to be from Microsoft & wanted to access our home computer. I knew it was a fraud scam as she didn't know any of my details & called me by an incorrect name. When I said no she screamed at me for about 3 mins. I shouted back & put the phone down, she called back immediately screaming that she will cut off my computer (which isn't even possible).

I pointed out to her that Microsoft wouldn't allow their staff to call customers back to shout at them. On seeing the other responses this number has also called us claiming to be the Customer Feedback company. They have also been extremely rude & called back repeatedly throughout the day whenever we have put the phone down, again, they always ask for someone who has never lived at our address. Complete scam. Do not ever give details to anyone over the

Had a phone call today from a bloke called Peter who claimed to be from Microsoft and said that I have been hacked and that my computer have been damaged. He said to download something to sort it out and I knew that it was a scam so I ended the call. There's calls are really draining as my mother is critically ill at the moment.

I received a call from this number yesterday. It was a missed call and the number was revealed on call back. I know nobody in the area (Yorkshire) from where it was made and having read other comments here I will put the phone down if I receive another. I suspect that another nuisance call I received recently where the caller was frankly abusive may have been from the same person/company. Do not believe these scammers when they tell you your computer has been compromised.

Received call from this number yesterday, unpleasant high pitched, loud whistling sound all that I heard; called today again, just a little background noise when I answered, no-one spoke. Given earlier comments, wonder whether these were revenge calls for us leading them on on an earlier call - we have had the full range in recent weeks, though not necessarily from this number, despite being on TPS. Gather scammers/cold callers are now using local numbers as cover.

Clearly a scam call. I have called twice this week already by an Asian Guy who said he was from Windows 10. Because I always answer the phone by "Hello" these days to try and identify if the caller is genuine or not by forcing them to speak I immediately responded in French and he hadn't a clue what I was saying and kept waffling on about sledged computer problems and eventually hung up as he hadn't a clue what I was talking about..

Number showing as unavailable. Woman caller Claimed to be from technical dept of Microsoft and wanted to speak to the main user of our computer or laptop. I asked what she wanted , she replied that they could tell someone was trying to hack into our computer and we had to act immediately. I asked how they had my phone number, was told the number was registered on their database along with our software licence no. I said so they would also know my name then. Was told no, didn't need to know my name. Definitely scamming, put the phone down on them. It rang back a few minutes later (number withheld ), didn't answer it. Rang again a minute later, 01226 490001. Picked up phone, but didn't say anything , just heard the woman's voice talking in an Asian language to a colleague . Phone cut off a while later. Nuisance call.

Claimed my computer had sent many error signals to their server and my computer was at risk of security breach. When challenged (I was suspicious of how they got my number) they became very assertive (aggressive!). I challenged them to give me my MS account email address but they waffled. I hung up and called MS Tech Help who advised it was definitely a scam and to ignore any further calls.

Repeated calls from them today, they hung up when I asked them to detail who they were but it hasn't stopped repeated calls. Slammed down phone when I asked to speak to a manager. My presumption is that their English is not brilliant and perhaps they simply don't realise how rude and offensive they sound.

A man saying my computer was sending error messages. He tried to get me to go through his instructions on my computer. When challenged he became aggressive. I hung up - he rang back several times. On hearing the man's threats, my husband answered the next call and made his feelings known. The man still rang continuously threatening to do so 'morning, noon and night'. I reported to my provider and got the number blocked. Revolting little con man.

Received call today from an Asian woman stating she was from Windows 10 service department and that my computer was sending them error messages every time I started it over the last couple of months. When I asked her the date they started she just said last few months over and over again. When I pressed for an answer she became irate. I ended up putting the phone down. She rang back and said how dare I cut her off. I put phone down again. She rang back again but I ignored it this time.
