Unsolicited call. Asian sounding lady claimed to be from British Telecom. I told her I was not interested, ended call and blocked number. Computer scam perhaps?

I received a call from an Indian sounding woman claiming to be from BT. When challenged she terminated the call abruptly. Definite scam. The telephone number is spoofed. Do not blame the innocent person whose number this is. An internet search for this number shows how many people have received these scam calls and what they try to persuade recipients to do on their computers.
