January 22, 2015, 11:55 am 11.05 am today. Call to mobile. Phone in another room so didn't take call. Did not recognise number so thought would check via this website. Glad I did. I note a comment on this or other number that BT say "number does not exist"? We can put a microwave on a comet but we can't track these people, who are using BT wires/optic cables, down? Really? Number now blocked.

January 23, 2015, 1:43 pm I always make a note of these numbers, then whenever i make an online enquiry about anything that requires me to give a phone number I pick one out of the hat and use that. If they are genuine I get an email reply if they are a bit bogus and sell the phone numbers, then one indian scam company ends up ringing another indian scam company. January 24, 2015, 3:09 pm I had a missed call from this number today and looked it up on the web. Indeed same scam I had on land line. Claiming you have a windows infection from your internet and they will protect and fix your computer. They take control and run some test on how slow your computer is. I have gone through the whole process and when I didnt want to go further they got very very rude. They keep calling me and only when I warn to police for harrassment they get scared. You need to get their company details and name of caller) that I work in the 'Information Commissioners Office' and under the 'Data Protection Act of 1998' if they do not remove my details from their systems, I will ask the Commissioner to take action against them now I have their details, I have found this works wonders...! I just have some fun with them now by either asking them to hold and I just leave the line open and see how long they last. The other thing is to string them along if you have a bit of time and them when they ask you to spell back the command spell f**k o**. See how long it takes them to grasp what is going on. February 10, 2015, 7:19 am I had a call from these yesterday explaining that my pc was infected with a virus, I listened for a while and pretended to follow prompts before telling them that I had actually that morning sent my pc to a reputable company for repairs. I then told them what a do for a living (fraud protection) needless to say the line went dead?! This number just called my MD's mobile and, when he answered, he got a recorded message informing him it was a Govt-funded agency who could get him up to 70% off his existing debts!!! 1) He has no debts 2) He's not stupid & 3) It was quite funny hearing him shout "B******s!!!" down the phone. Lay off the racism. TPS will only work on UK-generated calls and these come from outside the UK with a disguised UK number. By accident I didn't disconnect the call which had the unexpected benefit that he was paying for a very long call and couldn't use his outgoing line. I assume that if I did ring back it would cost me a fair whack and so add to the ever increasing number of blocked numbers on my phone. Its such a pain. When is something going to be done about this? I suspect it was the automated PPI rubbish because I get a number of those per week which I always hang up on. I'm sick of having to block them tbh. July 28, 2015, 5:36 pm I have received missed call from this number hut then strangely enough whilst at.my girlfriends house she had a call on her landline from exactly the same.nunber and it was a scammed trying to trick her.into giving them remote access to her pc that was apparently infected with a virus. Luckily my girlfriend was smart she pretended to be following the instructions given and it just didn't seem to work. After 15mins res they hung up on her and called her stupid! October 1, 2015, 1:04 pm Just got a call from this number saying from Microsoft and that my computer was badly corrupted. Asked me to press window button and r key on keyboard at same time. Brought up a screen and he asked me to type in www.support.me. Strung him along until this point when I told him no way was I doing this and there was nothing wrong with my computer.
