January 6, 2015, 4:37 pm I've had 4 calls today from this number (and 0195 46782518) trying to convince me I had taken a loan out from a bank I'd never banked with and that I was entitled to £2900 in compensation. Total rubbish but they didn't want to give up and kept pushing me to go ahead with a claim. Ignore them and do not be lured into this obvious and dishonest scam!!! May 15, 2015, 4:50 pm Just got called from this number after having been passed around two other people first (indian - hard to understand). They tried to persuade me I had a loan with a bank I have never banked with. The first person (Shane Wilson) told me the details of a loan and passed me to a second person who asked me to confirm the details I had been told as if I had a true recollection of them. I hesitated (I have a really bad memory - so was not sure) and was passed back and forth a while until I did as they asked. They then had a third person (Jason) call me back on this Tyneside number (saying it was a bad line so they had to). At that point I told him to call me back in half an hour (after my husband got home and I had a chance to talk to him). Jason did call back. I got my husband to answer and get rid of him. May 18, 2015, 1:53 pm Was called first by a number I didn't catch but it was Sharon from PPI Reclaim (they don't seem to exist!) who told me I was owed £2000 in PPI. Told me I had taken out a personal loan with Lloyds for £3000 in 2005 - complete lie then said she would put me through to this number 01914067097 and told me what I had to say. I had to hang up because of bad line (!) and they rang me back. Am not picking up and will block. Caller Company: Sharon from PPI Reclaim Caller Type: Scammer

June 25, 2015, 1:06 pm Called me and they said I had a loan for £4000 taken in 2005 and repaid in 2009 and was due over £1000 in P.P.I. For security asked me which bank this could be with. When I suggested Barclays they immediately agreed and gave me details of monthly payment and that it was a personal loan. I was passed to at least three other people who asked me for the details and each time asked for more personal information. I had an appointment so had to terminate conversation but they said they would phone me back in 30 minutes. I have not had a loan from Barclays so beware. July 6, 2015, 4:39 pm Had a call from Olivia on this number after having similar conversations as detailed by others on this site. It started with a call from 00403 5550127 where one Indian chap gave me details of a loan I supposedly had in 2004 and asked me to make out I knew this information myself when he transferred me to the Claims Adviser. I decided to play along and then got put through to two other people who asked me for the loan details then told I would be transferred to the Claims Adviser - funny that, thought he said he'd already done it! Finally, after telling me the line was really busy "Chris" told me he would ask them to call me back. That is when Olivia rang and started going through the whole scenario again. Then she said she would need to ask more questions........I had been furiously Googling the telephone numbers by this point and decided to stop playing....I told her what I had found on-line and that I was not happy to continue...she asked if I has Googled the company...I said "no, the number"....she replied that any info I'd found related to a previous PPI Claims Company not "PPI Reclaim", but rang off pretty quick after that. Really annoyed that I allowed them to waste about 1/2 an hour of my time!!!! Caller Company: Olivia PPI Reclaim Caller Type: Scammer

July 7, 2015, 11:28 am Just had a call from this number with similar conversations on this site. I have not had a loan for many years so played along. When Keith the "Claims Adviser" phoned me back I said that I did not remember the loan in 2005 that the original caller had detailed. He then went on to say that the original call was from an agency working on commission and they get this problem all the time, and he would take my name off their register. A few minutes later I received another call from the original caller with information on a loan I had taken out in 1990. This was probably the last loan I had taken out, way before PPI . I hung up... they are persistent so be aware. Caller Company: PPI Reclaim Caller Type: Scammer

July 13, 2015, 10:55 am Received a call late evening but wasn't available, so they called back next day telling me I had taken out a loan between 2006 and 2010 with NatWest. When I said I couldn't remember, 'Hazel' gave me the so called details of a £5000 personal loan, next she told me to remember these details and then went on to get me to repeat them so that when the next person I spoke to, I would be able to answer without hesitating!!Then I was told they would have to ring back because the line was bad. When they did I was asked the same questions again and then was put on hold for a few minutes before I was put through to someone else who told me I would be sent the pack which I would read and send back more details. On the Sunday evening I received another phone call 20:45 to make sure there would be someone in at 9:30 Monday morning so the person who was delivering the pack could go through the form with me and I would sign to say I had received it. I told them I didn't want the pack and I wouldn't be signing for anything. He was very persistant saying they could help me with other claims etc. I told them "NO" Caller Company: PPI Reclaim{working for the government} Caller Type: Unknown

September 1, 2015, 11:16 pm Basically had the same experience as above. With an Indian guy calling first on 02035456451.Then saying the line was bad so recalled me from 01914067097 I was told I was owed ppi from a loan that I had with loyds bank between 2005-2009 for £5000. Google number and saw some of these comments. So I asked them to phone me back tomorrow when I had time to take the call properly. I then phoned loyds who confirmed what I already knew and that was I had never had a loan with them. BE CAREFUL IT'S A SCAM.... Caller Company: PPI reclaim Caller Type: Scammer

September 17, 2015, 1:17 pm Was called by someone with a strong Indian accent calling themselves Marshall. Number unavailable. He coached me on details of a loan I knew I hadn't taken out (basically telling me to lie) when he passed me through to another department. I heard the "transfer of call" to a second person who had a "professional accent and manner" saying the line was bad and called back showing 0191 406 7097. I told them I had been fed all the information. They apologised for wasting my time. Caller Company: Marshall Caller Type: Telemarketer

September 18, 2015, 10:53 am I have just received a call saying exactly the same as above, Indian gentleman called saying£1500 was due to me from a loan taken out in 2005 repaid in 2009 for £5,000 coached me what to say to next person. He said bad line he would call back, then a British sounding girl called Alisha saying exactly what he had coached me. I asked the company name and she said claims advisory. I explained I had googled the number she was using and about this thread and she said I could end the call which I did. Caller Company: 01914067097 Caller Type: Unknown

Same thing with dodgy line, kept me waiting then they said they will phone back I also went on line and checked it out. When they rang back I told them I had never taken a loan out on these dates they then prosseeded to ask about credit cards and mortgages told them I wasn't interested. It all sounded to dodgy. September 22, 2015, 12:03 pm Yep. Today (22/09/2015). Exactly the same as all of the above. Transferred to 4 different people; asked same questions each time; gave false information each time as I suspected scam, and was told I was correct about my 'loan' and bank! IS ANYONE DOING ANYTHING ABOUT IT THOUGH? Caller Company: PPI Reclaim Caller Type: Scammer

March 17, 2016, 1:10 pm Had a tel call today, 17/3/16 stating that we had a loan and were due a payment for poi. My husband answered, I tell them to sod off, as I know that we are not owed anything. They got our address out of my husband, and stated the were sending out a form. I got this number off 1471. When it rang answered with automated message saying" you took part in a market research survey, no further action required". I am so annoyed at husband for being so gullible.

July 22, 2016, 11:33 am Ditto everything above - don't get drawn in ,just agree with them that you paid off the loan in the year they've said you did because you won the lottery and that you were happy to pay PPI! That should throw them! .....for all I know they could be reverse charging the call and costing me £100's Caller Type: Scammer |
