April 17, 2015, 8:22 am I got a woman called offering injury compensation for "non-fault" accidents that I may have had in the last 3 years. They knew my first name. I've never been in an accident and don't own a car so this is evidence of a cold call with no real information about me except my name from a calling list they've obviously purchased off of someone. May 10, 2015, 11:53 am Offers for insurance lawsuit compensation if you were in a car accident in the last 3 or 4 years. These are random cold calls where they pretend they are reading your database file off a computer screen. It's all a sale tactic to trick you into paying for a clinic appointment for car accident injuries. These people are bascially ambulance chasers and often call people who have already cleared up all their insurance issues and moved on with their lives. This is needless wasteful calling. June 2, 2015, 1:48 pm This is a road accident claims company calling to inform me that I was eligible for possible insurance claims since I was in a non-fault accident according to their records. I was shocked by this because I don't have any record of accidents as I was never in any yet. They seemed to be reading this information off of a computer screen. I told them that I hadn't been in any accidents and asked how they got my information and they said it was from a national database. That's it then they hung up on me. June 2, 2015, 3:23 pm Woman called to tell me that I could get financial compensation for a no-fault accident I had within the last 3 years. I believe these calls are the same people behind the hearing loss injury claims. They book appointments at clinics to check your hearing and then promise a lawsuit if you are eligible. They make referral fees off the clinic appointments whether you get a lawsuit opportunity or not. So I think these accident injury claims are the same thing. June 25, 2015, 5:23 pm I used the website GoCompare a few weeks ago and now I am getting calls from this number. They seemed to have purchased my personal information from the GoCompare website and told me I had a record in a database saying I was in a car accident within the last few years (2.5) and now I go seek compensation since it was a non-fault accident.
