Cold call from someone wanting to have engineers internally inspect my house tomorrow.

Could not find out actually who he was working for.

I was passed on to the manager who kept pushing for access - I was told this was all for my benefit, it would not cost anything and I could be taken off 'the National Database.

In the end I put the phone down after 15 minutes -after the manager invited my to so do.

I had made it clear that I was not interested from the beginning of the call - but neither of them was able to actually end the call - they just kept going.
