July 6, 2014, 11:36 am I have made a few donations to charities. Now I regularly get calls from this number. No messages left and when I tried to call back there is an automated answer but gives no clue to who called. This is unacceptable and I will no longer donate to charities in this way. Charity was Hope, but when I phoned them from another number I found on the internet they said they do not advertise on the TV as it's to expensive. If I answer they will not speak to me, I just hear noises sounding like a call centre in the background. I have tried ringing back and just get a recorded message, the number does not accept text responses. And strangely they both have the same mobile number call you - how can one mobile number cover several charities? Even the Donkey website doesn't have this mobile number. December 7, 2016, 7:55 pm I responded to a TV ad for the donkey sanctuary and got a call from this number, apparently based in GUERNSEY. I thought it odd that they me called from a mobile rather than a landline and Guernsey seemed an odd place for a UK charity to have headquarters.
