May 12, 2015, 5:50 pm This number has been calling me on a daily basis for about 3 weeks.i have answered on 2 occasions and just had a garbled recording asking for Mr. Shaw. July 8, 2015, 2:02 pm This number and possibly other similar numbers have been calling me for about 2 months. I mostly just ignore the call or give them a high pitched blast from the radio or TV ....but it doesn't stop them. Likewise to others I have blocked the callers number but they just use a different number. One day there will a law against these calls or technology will allow ordinary people to be able to stop these nuisance calls. Caller Company: Not Known Caller Type: Unknown

August 14, 2015, 11:54 am I started getting calls from this number approximately a week ago. I answered the first time and as soon as I heard a recorded message (I didn't bother to hear what the lady had to say: I wasn't interested since it wasn't a human being at the other end of the line) I hung up. I also ensured to block this number. The calls regularly go through to voicemail, but instead of checking the voicemail I first check to see a blocked call from this number around about the same time. This then confirms that the VM is from these idiots so no need to even bother checking: I simple delete the text message! I did check the message once, but like others have said here the message was blank! What a colossal waste of time. This has frustrated me so much that I have actually blocked ALL numbers starting with 08. If someone genuinely wants to get hold of me they can leave me a meaningful message which I can then follow up. Caller Company: Unknown Caller Type: Unknown

They claim to be from AA Car Assistance company and are telling me that I missed my AA insurance cover for the month, but I don't do business with AA at all. October 5, 2015, 10:47 pm I called AA back and they said they had to record of this sales person calling me. Although, it may be a third party that was doing the actual calling so I can't be 100% sure. I do have someone in my family that does deal with AA, but I don't ans the call was for me. I had a breakdown yesterday and this was a follow up call to see if I was happy with the service and if all my car problems were addressed. Everything is and I am very happy. August 9, 2017, 7:54 pm keep getting calls from 08009752417 i ignore all 0800 numbers and indeed any o8 numbers I read here that this is the AA, i was with the AA but told them to stuff it after 20 years as a member due to an issue where they refused to help me after my car was stolen. I now want to answer them the next time they call so i can tell them to go fck themselves they have a dam cheek cold calling I do not believe it they just called me as i type this it is 19.30 in the evening and it was a recorded message stating !this is not an urgent call we will call you back" WTF If anyone from the AA reads this then get this straight I was finished with the AA when they let me down but now i am going to contact ofcom this is cold calling which i do believe is legislated against. I will never ever buy anything from AA again shame the AA used to be a great organization before it was privatized now it is a shady rouge company disgusted with them, hurry up and go bust Caller Company: AA Caller Type: Telemarketer

October 10, 2017, 4:50 pm I just had a call from this number seems fine to me - said they were from the AA & as I was halfway through my membership they were just checking if all my details were still correct I said yes then they said that's fine thankyou bye bye.
