February 25, 2015, 10:14 pm They will offer a decent paying job which you are supposed to be able to do on your own. You just need to buy the starter pack. In my case they took my card details and told me they wouldn't charge me until I called them back and 100% sure I wanted to go through with this deal. Well I called them back later to change my mind and not do anything and they said it was too late I gave them my details so it's not their problem anymore. "NOT THEIR PROBLEM, ANYMORE" is their exact quote. Scumbag criminals at work. You will get garbage from them if you try. No money opportunities at all. I ended up getting my card charged and am not trying to reverse it. Caller Company: Employment Scam Caller Type: Scammer

April 8, 2015, 2:32 pm The number they called on now was - 0871 475 0968 Same scam, phishing for credit card details! Didn't have a company registration number or VAT registration and a website (www.tfwg.co.uk) that's conveniently 'under construction'. Claimed to be headquartered in Hatton Garden, London. April 13, 2015, 1:36 pm 0871 475 0968 This number just called me! Offering fantastic job opportunity £10-£15 an hour working at home (admin/secretarial/data entry). Definitely a scam. Too good to be true. No interview, nothing! Immediately after asking generic questions such as email and dob they said I passed and asked for my card details so they can send a starter pack. Informed that I will not be doing such thing and hung up! Please don't fall for it people!! Caller Type: Scammer

May 7, 2015, 12:51 pm Received a call 7 May 2015, same story - offered a job, just need to pay for Starter Pack. I asked for their website and I was told it's www.tfwg.co.uk but that it's 'currently under maintenance'. 'Ben' also told me I could reserve a later starting date but would also need to give my bank details. Anyway, thanks to reading up on here I am glad I didn't give my bank details away! I foolishly gave them my card details, I wasn't comfortable with it all after I hung up so I opted to receive a refund which I was promised - I was told to email the group [email protected] I've yet to hear back from them .....if they call you don't give them your bank details -on my part it was w foolish and desperate attempt to finding a job and they pry on that. June 10, 2015, 4:19 pm Texted me with 03333660925 as the number to call but when I asked who it was, they told me TFWG First time I called, when I gave them my name I was put on hold for 5 minutes until the line died. Presumably because I'd gone through this prior on a different number, and declined to pay. Called back citing a new name to get their company info, did the research and found this page. June 11, 2015, 3:21 pm Received a text saying if you're looking for data entry work, call this number 03333660925. Did a bit of research on Google. I found that it was a company called TFWG (The Flexible Work Group). They have a one-page website (sure sign of potential scam). I rang the number anyway. It sounded like a busy sales/customer service centre. I was told they had vacancies for data entry, envelope filling and mystery shoppers. It was all pretty vague. They quoted rates of £10-£15 per hour envelope filling, and said about 60 envelopes per hour. Usually envelope filling is paid by the quantity not by the hour. Said I'd think about it. Rang the following day. Spoke to a different person. They said I'd need to cough up £34 for a starter pack before any work could be obtained. Instant alarm bell sounded and I declined. I get the idea that you could be filling starter packs for any mugs who are likely to fall for the scam. No legitimate company would require an initial payment to work for them. Give them a wide berth. Caller Company: The Flexible Work Group Caller Type: SMS

June 13, 2015, 7:19 pm I paid the money and received a pack, absolutely fine, however, I was sold this as Employed not Self Employed, I returned the pack showing received on the Royal Mail tracker. The chap I spoke too was Sean originally, I then spoke to a young lady airing my views about the content of the pack, she stated that I should have been advised 'self employed'. I have today just ended another call with a different guy and advised that I will report them to trading standards, I have emailed again advising the above, giving them 5 working days. He did guide me to their website, I don't think he anticipated me googling whilst we were still on the phone, found the page, not a website by any stretch of the imagination, he said it is down due to maintenance work, I advised 'rubbish' this is a single page with no links, I asked to speak to a Manager, he stated he was on is own, to which I advised that he can't be left in an office on his own, breach of Health and Safety, at this stage he was coughing nervously. As I pushed him in to his corner further, I advised, once the paper work shows as received back to their address, how long is it until I receive a full refund? He stated 2-3 days, nothing as yet. I will search their number and address on the internal system at work, I work in telecoms and have access to the national business and residential address finder, if I find an internal number, I will up-date this and advise the same. I am far from stupid, however the guys are, I think genuine and feel they are providing a service, however, those who are happy knowing they are effectively duping people, then they are a shower of shi' heads. June 17, 2015, 3:38 pm Same experience as every one else pretty much. Email asking to call 0333 366 0925. Too good to be true. Asked a few questions an untrained Gibbon could have answered then surprise surprise said i'd passed the test! He then sped through to wanting payment for the pack. When i quizzed him on work type he was clueless and stumbling around. couldn't even give me the difference between the lowest and the higher rated work types! In any case if you've done temp work you'll know trying to get £10ph is hard enough so to be promised up to £15 without interview or a clear JD is obviously bogus. June 22, 2015, 9:46 pm I worked for this company for a very short time scale of 2 weeks. I really don't know how they get away with the set they have.. and anybody that works in that office on behalf of them are not given that job in an honest way either but I must add anyone who is still working there after figuring out what the company is up are just as bad as the company itself. I worked in the same office as Jordan and Ben who are both happy to scam people of their money. The company is meant to be an over flow call centre to support busy bussinesses, taking messages and passing them on. I think this is only to mask the real scam that is going on. They have various names and scams... TFWG only being 1 of them and I would never advise to give any details to them or to return the calls. They also have various different postal re directing services (3x companies, ) 2x helpline service where they pose as Facebook , twitter or even paypal and the workers are told to keep the callers on the phone for up 18mins at £1.50 per minute even if they can't help them with the call or problem. July 2, 2015, 10:08 am Just been stung by this scam as well. Call your bank and stop the direct debit from your account. No paper work has been signed and taking money is fraud. My bank is now investigating this. I sent back their starter pack and two letters to cancel and also e-mails to no effect. I am now also giving this to a solicitor to deal with and charging TFWG interest of 5000% per day. TFWG phone number 0871-475-0128 always engaged. Trying to contact them on the phone for over 1 month now. Looks like fake number. Caller Type: Telemarketer

July 7, 2015, 2:11 pm I fell for this stupid scheme. I rung as soon as I received the "starter pack" which was 2 sheets of paper with ways to get a self employed job! Not what I was told. The woman I spoke to said she could not issue a refund and I would have to return it then I will get my refund. I sent it tracked delivery so I know they would receive it. It has been signed for a month ago and I'm still yet to get my refund. They have since taken another £15 from my bank without my permission what so ever. On my bank statement it says the payment was taken by someone called heart. Which I'm assuming is the company the ex employe above is talking about. They told me they are in no way connected to tfwg they are just the payment processor. So that's clearly a lie. I know it's not a great amount of money but when you're already struggling it's like a kick when you're down. I have reported these people to trading standards and urge everyone else too! July 21, 2015, 10:44 am ..very..very dubious. Spoke to a rep called Dan Smith, offering me work on a part/full time basis. It seemed strange to ask for bank details. I declined. I can also confirm that this company is Heart communications Orion house Bessimer road Welwyn garden city Hertfordshire Not Hatton garden which is what we are forced to say down the phone. They also represent a company called sensory education, which is another scam. Praying on the needs of disabled children. Ring them! Question them.
