February 5, 2015, 1:22 pm I received a call from this number stating that the were making enuiries into an accident where they had hit my vehicle. When I asked when th accident was supposed to have hppened, they replied 2013. I stated that I had no knowledge of any accident, and the telephone was slammed own on the other end. February 6, 2015, 9:19 pm why are the police and telephone companies allowing this, any victims, scammed through use of this number should look to sue the police, firstly because they are aware of the problem as this site alone is evidence of that. We have seen that they have the technology and can trace the calls origin. The reality is they have chosen not to do anything. I was also verbally abused by these people as the caller in his ignorance got upset when he couldnt outsmart me he quickly turned to profanity. the police merely said they cant do anything as they believe the caller is from abroad. the callers locality is irrelevant as this is a uk number they do have the power to disable it. Today, I phoned it back from my landline to get a recorded message: "The number you have dialled has not been recognised. Please check and try again". March 4, 2015, 8:44 pm I had a call from this number to my mobile phone, a very polite pleasant man with an english accent asked if he could speak to my husband, I said "yes if you've got a ouija board he died 2 years ago." The poor man was lost for words for a few seconds but then proceeded to try and sell me something. My husband did die 2 years, as it is I'm quite emotionally stable but if that happened to someone vulnerable it could have really upset them. March 10, 2015, 11:07 am Got a call from a condescending foreign woman who said she was from Phoenix Ltd and asked for my husband by name. I asked what sort of company that was and she said she could only speak to my husband as it was private information. I said I was not asking for private information, just what kind of company Phoenix was, and if she couldn't do that then she couldn't speak to anyone and she could take my number off her database, at which point she very rudely and condescendingly said "I won't do that" - not sure who hung up first but I was livid and could quite happily have shot her. March 11, 2015, 3:28 pm Get calls from this number, I always press 5 to speak to someone and then (depending on my mood) usually just ask if they enjoy and proud their job of harassing people. Their company name is a generic Claims Management name which isn't their legal name so difficult to know who they are. Had a great laugh with "windows support" on the phone he never twigged even when i said my windows weren't opening especially the front bedroom one. Said I had won a free 'group' ticket to enter Mega Million Lotteries and win lots of money. They just needed me to answer some personal details so they could send my free ticket. Didn't trust it and hung up on it and then proceeded to cancel the purchase I was about to make. I did get a scam call a few weeks back about points Ive collected on my tesco club card. Asked if i wanted to cash out. I don't have a tesco club card but kept talking to him for fun. I spent 25 minutes looking for my bank details and talking about the latest deals at tesco. April 27, 2015, 8:49 pm I used Skype on my computer to call myself in order to maintain my Skype credit, this is the number which came up so I assume calls with this number are Skype calls.

May 13, 2015, 10:27 pm I got a call from a man who said he was calling from windows, there was a problem with windows on my computer sending notifications to them and he needed me to start up my computer. Alarm bells rang immediately as I do not have a problem with any of my computers. I said I was not home at the time so he asked when he could call me back. I asked which computer he was receiving notifications from? (If he genuinely had notifications from my computer he would be able to identify my computer IP address etc) He replied the main one I use, to which I replied which one.....he promptly hung up...obviously a scam and would have tried to hack my computer if I had switched it on. July 25, 2015, 10:46 am I picked up as I'm waiting for an important call, I said hello but no reply, there was just noise of people talking and laughing and stuff I waited thinking may say hello but they didn't, said hello again. Despite being a woman, with a very feminine voice, they then said "hello is that Mr Magic?" I just said no you have the wrong number. She was polite and said ok sorry about that and the call ended there. But how stupid do you have to be to figure that I could possibly say "why yes it is" when I'm clearly a woman. July 31, 2015, 7:49 am On Wednesday 29th July at 02:19 and then between the hours of 02:19 and 05:00 - 01269 849592 called my mobile. This is totally unacceptable and upon answering the first call the caller finished and the line went dead. I tried to call back when I got to work only to find it unobtainable. I now understand this is a bad numbers call and could be anything from PPI to an accident claim company. Calling people in the early hours of the morning is just totally unacceptable. Particularly when I have an elderly parent and the phone goes early hours you immediately fear the worst and then cannot get back to sleep only to have to go work a couple of hours later feeling like death warmed up. I haven't had one, so told him I wasn't interested in whatever he was selling and hung up. A minute later he rung me again but from a different number 0113 887 8563, Jamie said I don't care if you are interested the police are, so I'll let the courts deal with it, and he hung up!! August 7, 2015, 7:45 pm I frequently get calls from this number but it is a recorded voice telling me they have tried to get hold of me, either for a PPI claim (have never taken PPI out!!) or to say i have had a car crash in the past 2 years and they will help me with compensation. I did have a car crash about 6 years ago but as it was the other driver's fault, my insurance company had nothing to do with it.
